Email list
When you join Roadie Dispatch, we collect the email address you submit, optional name, selected interest segment, consent version, source page, and signup timestamp.
How we use it
We use the list for 66 Roadies updates, product launches, Route 66 stories, book releases, trip tools, and curated sponsor or partner offers when you choose to receive them.
Roadie Profiles
When you create a Roadie Profile, we collect the email address, handle, display name, optional home base, road style, bio, visibility choice, consent version and text, signup source, status, and timestamps you submit. Profiles start private. A private edit-key hash is stored on the server; the usable edit key stays in the browser storage of the device that created the profile unless you copy or share it.
Invitation requests and invitations created during the earlier closed beta may remain in protected administrative records for support, security, and historical continuity. They are no longer required for new profile creation.
Roadie Passport stamps
Connected stamps can store the selected stop, city, state, visit date, visibility, proof label, verification level, rounded location evidence, rounded distance, and timestamps. Public pages do not display proof coordinates. Public-after-delay stamps wait at least 24 hours before appearing.
Photos
A Roadie Profile is public by default and can be made private from My Roadie. Profile visibility does not make stamps, photos, or exact location data public. When private photo storage is enabled, a connected Roadie Profile may attach a JPEG, PNG, or WebP image to a stamp. The browser re-encodes the image before upload to remove ordinary EXIF metadata; photos are private by default and can be deleted by the profile owner. A photo appears on a public Roadie Profile only when the owner explicitly requests public display, and public photos remain subject to review and removal. Until the storage binding is enabled, photographs are previewed locally only and are not uploaded.
Business requests and aggregate metrics
Business-interest forms store submitted business and contact details. Public beta metrics show aggregate profile and stop activity without publishing private profile edit keys or proof coordinates.
Traveler funnel measurement
To learn whether the core traveler path works, 66 Roadies counts map opens, public stop views, Passport opens, stamp attempts, completed device-local stamps, and successful profile creations. Historical invitation-request counts remain in the aggregate table. These measurements are combined into daily counters. The funnel table does not store a visitor or session identifier, IP address, email address, user agent, referrer, precise location, or raw page URL. Stop-related counters can include the public stop ID so we can identify which Route 66 records are useful.
The homepage links to the public 66 Roadies Facebook Page. Its optional Facebook feed is not loaded until you choose to load it. After that choice, Meta may receive browser, device, cookie, and interaction information under Meta's own terms and privacy policy.
No raw email resale
66 Roadies can sell advertising placements, sponsored messages, or business listings. We do not sell raw subscriber email addresses as a standalone list.
Unsubscribe
You can unsubscribe at unsubscribe.html. Future email campaigns should include an unsubscribe link and sender contact information.
Access, correction, and deletion
During beta, request profile, stamp, business-request, or email-list access, correction, export, or deletion by contacting us. We may retain limited records needed for security, legal compliance, fraud prevention, or suppression of unwanted email.
